Went to the Breakfast with the birds today and saw a fair amount. No sign of the Powerful owl at the time.  I went back later and it was there in the rainforest gully with the remains of something furry in its claw.  Will, (ranger) and I could not decide what it was.  Then the Currawongs hassled it again and it dropped its feed.  I also saw the Satin bower bird repairing his bower and dancing around. Not seen that before.
I was watching a New holland honey eater feeding a youngster, when I heard a squeak from behind me. On turning around, there was a red wattle bird feeding its youngster. Photo attached. Quite the morning for dependant young, I thought.
