Hello, The 'resident' Powerful Owl was present between 0730 and 1030 this morning along the main path within the rain forest gully in Section 146 within an Antarctic Beech. This is just 'down gully' from the point where the path transitions from wooden boardwalk to stones, and the owl was well concealed rather high up on the N-ish, or gully-side, of the path. There are pellets and some whitewash about. A couple of helpful Pied Currawongs assisted by alerting me to the owls' presence. Cheers, Adam Searcy |
