Seen in my garden in Kaleen  this am for the first time.  Also a white browed scrub wren, which was a big surprise.  He appeared right beside me in the orange tree whilst I was watching the fantail.

Kaleen adj Gininnderra drive - One lot of Magpies have hatched - sitting on wire with parents, nest empty.  Rufous whistler seen and heard singing his heart out.  Yellow rumped thornbills now feeding young in the nest. Black faced cuckooo shrike took off for the open ground.

The flock of Double barred finches still doing well.  I think they nest in the next door garden.
