At lunchtime today I came across 16 King Parrots feeding on the ground at Telopea Park.  Like Margaret, I was struck by there not being an adult male in the flock.  Presumably they are all up in the ranges sorting out housekeeping.

This may be a usual occurrence, but today was the first time I have seen king parrots at Callum Brae.  A party of four, and not an adult male among them.
