I admit that while I am at uni I don't do that much birding *conceals face in shame* :-P. Still I've seen some 'good' birds on campus like Little Friarbird, Grey Currawong and Southern Boobook. ([tongue in cheek]Waits to be 'shot down' for describing such sightings as 'good' sightings [/tongue in cheek])

Dimitris, you need to get out more! Rainbow Lorikeets are an everyday bird in Hawker and Scullin now. There must be something flowering nearby to me in Scullin, with up to eight birds at a time flying around! And dropping my boy and picking him up at Hawker primary, I hear or see them every time.

Hello All,

Had  pair of Rainbow Lorikeets fly over union court just 20 minutes ago. My first sighting of the species in the ACT. =)
