This makes the 22nd observation of this species in the GBS (assuming there were none in year 28 for which processing isn't complete).� In summary:

Year 3:2 birds for weeks39 -42 in Kambah; and 2 birds for week 43 in Farrer;

Year 4: ��10 birds for week 7 in Hughes (Confirmed by Annual Bird Report � incidentally many, many thanks to Alastair Smith for making online access to this possible!!)

Year 5: 1 � 3 birds in Pearce in weeks 44, 46, 50 � 02; 1 bird in Campbell in week 2

Year 7: week 37 2 birds in Mitchell;week 15 2 birds in Weetangera

Year 9: week 44, 2 birds in Braddon and 1 in Hughes

Year 12: week 3, 1 bird in Weetangera

Year 13; Crace - week 1, 2 birds and week 2, 5 birds

Year 24; week 16 1 bird at Acton

Seems to be my morning for excitement. A Regent Honeyeater appeared about an hour ago feeding in our ornamental almond along with 3 Yellow-faced and one Fuscous Honeyeater.
Sue Matthews and another birdo friend were kind enough to race round and confirm that I wasn't seeing things.
As far as I can tell, the Regent is still happily feeding in the almond as I write this.
