On Callum Brae a couple of days ago I had the privilege of watching a pair of courting pardalotes.  At one stage the male must have thought he was on to a winner when he drew himself up to his full height and raised his hat to the lady.  She also raised the feathers on her crown, but to a lesser extent.  Sorry about the grainy long-distance photos.
