Spent some of the afternoon at these two sites – the famous WBCS was still quite easy to find at Newline, also seen – OB Oriole, Horsfield’s Bronze and Fan-tailed Cuckoo, Southern Whiteface, a Noisy Friarbird (my first for the season), a single Brown Treecreeper. Has anyone seen more than one of the latter recently at Newline? And any shriketits?

At Kellys Swamp most interesting was a Red-kneed Dotterel, first I can remember there for quite some time. Also Black-shouldered and Whistling Kite, Little Eagle, Little Grassbird calling.

cheers

Steve
