That reminds me that I saw the first Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike of the season up at the Pinnacle on Monday. John Brannan Barbara Allan wrote: Two Dusky Woodswallows at Lake Ginninderra peninsula this pm, the first I’ve seen there since late autumn. No reed-warblers yet, unless they were skulking quietly out of the breeze. Much felling of dead and dying timber underway. White-plumed Honeyeaters particularly vocal.
