Hi Chris.
Its a non-breeding Fuscous
Honeyeater.
In breeding condition the bill turns a shiny
all-over black, which is quite a striking feature if you can get fairly close
views in good light.
Speaking of NH Honeyeaters, this past few weeks
we've had 1 (and once 2) several times in our GBS site here in Gordon - and
thats unusual. Have occasionally had single sightings here (not very often) but
never before repeat sightings over a fairly brief period.
