What might have been in there somewhere at our Cth Park:  this morning’s rolling of the eggs, 6 of, presumably the final count.  Note loose down plucked from under-plumage of sitting bird

In line with Geoffrey’s ‘Views all Canberrans will recognise’ we can note the new “gardens and parks” stamp series put out very recently by Australia post.

One of the stamps features our commonwealth park and includes the ubiquitous black duck, a partly concealed swamphen and what is probably a silhouette of a wattlebird. – That’s philatelic birding for you.
