In line with Geoffrey’s ‘Views all Canberrans will
recognise’ we can note the new “gardens and parks” stamp series put out very
recently by Australia post.

One of the stamps features our commonwealth park and
includes the ubiquitous black duck, a partly concealed swamphen and what is
probably a silhouette of a wattlebird. – That’s philatelic birding for you.
