I have seen hybrids mainly about the Hughes/Red Hill area (where I spend most time!), but unlike Harvey I have always seen them associating with Easterns as mates, not Crimsons.

John et al,

We have 2 different hybrids here in my Higgins garden on regular occasions (although it has been a while since one of the two has appeared). Both have crimson mates, not easterns. Then again, they tend more towards crimson than towards eastern in appearance.
