Earlier in the week our pair of Tawny Frogmouths appeared, roosting very close to their nest-site of last year. If they do nest again I will attempt to monitor the site and write it up for Canberra Bird Notes. If others with regularly visited sites cared to share their observations with me that would be welcome. ...

The Corroboree Park pair of Tawny Frogmouths has also just re-appeared- seen for the first time for awhile today in their second favourite roosting tree about 60 m from last years nest-site. The amount of recent splashings on the road suggest they may have been there for one or two days.
