Earlier in the week our pair of Tawny Frogmouths appeared, roosting very close to their nest-site of last year. If they do nest again I will attempt to monitor the site and write it up for Canberra Bird Notes. The Corroboree Park pair of Tawny Frogmouths has also just re-appeared- seen for the first time for awhile today in their second favourite roosting tree about 60 m from last years nest-site. The amount of recent splashings on the road suggest they may have been there for one or two days.
