As announced at the Meeting last night it is planned for the mid-week walk next week (17 July) to be at Newline Quarry site.  I had suggested 9am as the start time, but as I was driving home it seemed that the roadworks around Pialligo are even more chaotic than has been the case in the recent past.  Therefore I suggest deferring the start to 9:30 in the hope that this will avoid the worst of the traffic past the airport.  (Alternately the Oaks Estate bridge is now open again so it maybe quicker and easier to use that route.)

The meeting point is marked (approximately) by the X in the attached Google maps extract.  Coming from the airport turn right - with care, the road is busy - at the yellow sign for Newline Quarry, about 1km past the traffic lights at Fairbairn.  Park in the dirt area before the steel fence.

Any one who is attending and has a year 28 GBS Chart may wish to bring it along: I will have some year 29 Charts available if needed.

Martin
