The Great Trunk Bike-path through Cook, with the leafy residential complex of Wybalena Grove in the background.  Is it because so many eagle-eyed ‘watchers call Wybalena Grove home that so many unusual birds, notably and repeatedly the  Swift Parrot, are reported from this small precinct?   Anyway, there seem to get a lot more than their share.  If looking for birds do NOT stand on the path as the pace of some of the bi-wheeled commuters is extraordinary.  They probably bet they can get to Bailey’s Corner before their partner in the Saab.
