Not birds - Mt Ainslie signposts

Not birds but …
for those who haven’t visited Mt Ainslie recently - during the last month or so, new signposts have sprouted on all the major tracks, which have been christened with (new?) names. 
Some of the west side ones seem to recognize people (e.g. Honor Thwaites…but Socks?):

 

 while the east side ones seem starker and more functional:
