Yep,
I agree with Alberta, centre left is closest. Have seen mallards around also see them at the eastern corner of Weston Park.

Hey all, Centre left is very much like the Tuggers Lake bird. The one at our lake has no white on it's head though, I think. Tuggeranong Lake gets less feral ducks than Isabella Ponds, which also has 2 geese (Gary and Molly). Perhaps this is because they are a little less public and people aren't as afraid to dump unwanted pets there? Also on Isabella Ponds are 2 ducks that look quite like Geoffrey's centre right and 2 that look like top right. There were 2 more that looked like the one on Tuggeranong Lake but I believe they have died. The lake did have a muscovy that didn't last long.
The strangest feral ducks I've seen in the area were quite large and had white ring like markings around their necks. The photo of the bottom left duck is most simillar but with no green head. There were maybe 12 of them at one point. I think some are still around. They were on Tuggeranong Lake from about 3 years ago.
I saw 4 Yellow-Tailed Black Cockatoos across frm my house today. They've been around all week.

Some time ago I sent to the chatline this assortment from
Gungahlin Pond - all snapped in the one group. LBG has similar, although not
quite such a range. The centre left bird is possibly the chap in question.

Seen yesterday afternoon at the northern end of Lake Tuggeranong; solitary
large duck - considerably bigger than Wood or Pacific Black - mostly black with
conspicuous white breast. We have also seen it on occasion at the
Tuggeranong Park 'beach' with other fowl - and no it isn't a swan.
Any ideas?
