This afternoon I did a usual stroll at the Kambah side of Mt Taylor and about half way to the Chifley side observed a Rose-ringed Parakeet. It was calling a lot this making itself really conspicuous. Twice it flew down from where I first saw it more toward the Tugg. Parkway. This is the first time I have seen one not in a garden setting. Unlike the others I have seen this one moved very confidently (I only saw it in flight) though tracked it down, perched calling.

Also since others are writing about them, about 10 Dusky Woodswallows and a Grey Butcherbird.
