An adult OB Oriole just seen in our garden, the first here since early Feb, sightings have been few and far between compared to previous years. No Noisy Friarbirds recorded for about two weeks now. Red Wattlebirds – one or two around, a far cry from this time in 2008 when we were regularly getting GBS counts of 20 to 30. Indicative of a  lot less eucalypt flowering this year. A Eucalyptus virids in our front yard has been in flower for several weeks and on a couple of evenings we have been delighted to see a Sugar Glider feeding in it.

cheers

Steve
