A friend from Urila mentioned in an email that a flock of 30 Red Wattlebirds flew over his place from the NW yesterday, so they are on the move with the Yellow-faced Honeyeaters. I have just received the attached image from Jerry Olsen who is on a study tour of Spain (and Catalonia). The image is rather spectacular and it's nice to hear of our birds getting publicity in a wider context. Martin Attachment:
