After the recent sightings I spent most of Sunday searching some known areas for heathwrens…without luck.

 

Mt Majura – 0 heathwrens.

Cuumbeun NR – 0 heathwrens. Apart from a large mixed-species feeding flock nothing else.

Googong Foreshores (London Bridge area) – 0 heathwrens. Overall a scarcity of birdlife but did get Brown Treecreeper here.
