Heard our first ever Gang-Gangs in Kaleen (though only been here for 1 1/2 yrs) this morning, though they just didn't reach our garden unfortunately.  Funnily, we were just watching a group of thornbills/pardalotes/silvereyes moving through and discussing that it was the last Canberra parrot we hadn't seen from the house.

15 minutes later we also had our first choughs for the garden.  They normally hang out at the playing fields at the end of the street, but ventured in to harass the magpies.
