My son Sam told me he'd seen two CSs on the corner of Kingsford-Smith and Southern Cross drives this morning.
He thought one of them seemed to be a young one. He's out now and I don't know any more details.

An adult male Collared Sparrowhawk was dead on Kingsford-Smith Drive at Spence this morning - presumably hit by a car.  Its been a couple of years since I last saw a Collared Sparrowhawk around Mt. Rogers although this may not be indicative of their presence because as a regular (nearly every evening) visitor to Mt. Rogers I still have not seen a Button-Quail!
