I’d suggest to you that Button-quails are much better hidden than are Collared Sparrowhawks.

Did you collect the dead bird for the museum?

An adult male Collared Sparrowhawk was dead on Kingsford-Smith Drive at Spence this morning - presumably hit by a car.  Its been a couple of years since I last saw a Collared Sparrowhawk around Mt. Rogers although this may not be indicative of their presence because as a regular (nearly every evening) visitor to Mt. Rogers I still have not seen a Button-Quail!
