Dear COG members,
I will be visiting Canberra for three days next week while my husband attends a meeting at The Australian Academy of Science.  I am an American who has been living in Brisbane for 7 months and am proud to say I have seen 251 of your beautiful birds.  After some simple Googling I was unable to find a professional guide so I thought I would ask here if anyone is interested in hiring themselves out as a guide.  I am happy to pay for gas and a guiding fee or as I did for David McCarthy, the wonderful volunteer guide in Melbourne, make a donation to Birds Australia.  I have a list of target birds but have not done my homework to know which are most likely to find so I am open visiting the best spots and not chasing a rare sighting.  I was not planning to rent a car while in Canberra but can if necessary.  We will be staying at the Rydges Hotel in the downtown area and I can try to meet you where it is most convenient.

many thanks,
Michelle Kendall
