Hi all,
Just to say thanks to everyone (and there were quite a few) who responded to my query about where to find platypus in and around Canberra. It clearly demonstrates the depth of the forum, and what an invaluable resource it is not only for birds, but also wildlife in general as well as other subjects.
 
On a more birdy note, I had a Southern Boobook calling outside the house last night at 10pm, in the same tree that the Little Lorikeets were earlier, but again I couldnt track it down.
