Without expressing or wanting to revive opinions on this recent
discussion, and without wanting to compete with Geoffrey's more
sophisticated illustrations, I could not resist the look of apparent
incredulity on the face of this Spotted Dove ... What it was
actually looking at with such interest was a Wonga Pigeon I was trying to
photograph, possibly awestruck by the Wonga's exceeding plumpness in the
rain. (In my sister's backyard (Blue Mtns)). |
