Hey guys, Tuggeranong Lake is fairly rubbish for birds. Stranger Pond I believe is better and as Philip said, much closer to Pine Island. Tuggeranong Lake does have Reed Warblers. They can be reliably found up at the Monash end between the bridge and the weir. Isabella Ponds kicks Tuggeranong Lake out of the water so to speak as far as waterbirds go. However, the same area where you can find the Reed Warblers at the Lake is much better for robins and such. Of course, the only place to reliably see birds on Tuggeranong Lake is outside of McDonalds and KFC... Also slightly further around near the college. Alberta Hayes, Monash.
