Superb Parrots in Aranda

This could be because they have dispersed throughout Belconnen, especially Aranda, Cook and Macquarie.  There were at least 23 in Lachlan St, Macquarie this morning.  I hear them almost every day - 4 flew over just 5 minutes ago.  A few days ago, I checked Macquarie Primary School to see if they roosted there at night as they did a couple of years ago, but there was no sign of any.

In an almost repeat of nearly the same thing as a year ago, I with Maria and Judy went for the walk around the top of Mt Rogers (well marked walking trail with lots of other people walking their dogs) at about 7:15 to 8:10 p.m. yesterday, to see the Superb Parrots. Encountered about 40 of them in the duration. Very nice occurrence but about one third the number of Superb Parrots as were there last year.
