Not in my backyard ! The koel that has been calling for the last week or so around the ABC on Northbourne AVenue finally visited the large manna gum at the rear of 28, Hartley St., Turner about 0730 this morning. It's monotonous call then increased in frequency reaching a crescendo before it burst out of the top branches pursued by a red wattle bird. The RWB had actually seized hold of the koel'' s tail feathers in it's beak and in tandem they then cleared my backyard area.
