I have been a member of the COG list for a number of years now.
However, I live in Rome, Italy, but do visit Canberra relatively
often. Normally I keep a fairly low profile but this time I would like
to meet up with some local birders if possible. I will be arriving in
Canberra on 16-12-2008 and should be around most of the time until
about 3 January 2009. I will be based in Watson.
If any of you remain in Canberra and go birding, and do not mind some
company, please drop me a line. I will be going to Kelly's, Campbell
Park, Tidbinbilla and the Botanical Gardens amongst others and may
bump into a few of you this way. I am also a fairly keen (very)
amateur photographer as well.
Although I would not refer to myself as an expert birder, I do believe
I am no longer a beginner either - although I do have a lot to learn
about Australian birds.
