went again to Kelly's today.
5 spoonbills, 3 sitting and 1 feeding, the other just standing around.
Glossy Ibis near the very back of the swamp, seen from Cygnus Hide.
no Drongo, bother it!
intermediate egret at Bittern Hide, then flying across the swamp and away at Cygnus.
noisy friarbirds everywhere. I counted 15.
thanks to all the people who helped me locate the nest tree.
does anyone know when they will start trapping rabbits again? everywhere you look there is at least one... also, there has been an unusual proliferation of brown thornbills and other SBB's* around and in my garden... has anyone else had this experience? i've never had brown thornbills before, at least not in the garden.

* for those who don't know, Small Brown Birds.
