I was very pleased to hear Robin's latest report that the frogmouths at
Ainslie have been sighted again and had not been scared off. A friend
of mine from overseas observed them over the weekend (thanks to COG
members for instructions on where to find them!). Here is his message
and a link to the photos he took.

Hi Tony,
I was successful in my search of the tawny frogmouths in Ainslie. They
are exactly where they were supposed to be. It looks like it's two
chicks and two adults. The chicks can fly however don't hunt yet. We saw
them on Friday (14.11.) in the evening ~0750 pm and the adults were
hunting and feeding. Then again (and that's when the pictures were
taken) on Saturday around 3.30 pm
