GC grebe still present today (Saturday), 4.45 p.m., at the spot described by Harvey.
 
Also a Little grassbird calling.

There was a Great Crested Grebe on Acacia Inlet when I drove past this morning at 8.20. Full breeding plumage and close to shore - it was about half way between where the pontoon used to be and the reeds at the head of the inlet.
