At 1100 today I saw a pair of Superb Parrots fly up from the ground and into Elm trees at the edge of the Holt Oval near the Southern Cross Drive/Beaurepair Crescent intersection. Had good views from 10m but was going to catch a bus so couldn't stick around. Couple of summers back I saw Superb Parrots, some days over ten birds at a time, in this location on about 11 consecutive days.
