There has been a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets in Aranda for about 5 years and I
saw another pair on the Pinnacle when I was doing a bird survey for the myna
study about a month ago and I saw them again today.
It's easy living for them in Canberra in spring and summer with all the
flowering eucs but what puzzles me is what they feed on during winter.
