One pair of Royal Spoonbills are definitely nesting at Kelly's Swamp (Jerra
Wetlands). The birds were busy fiddling with the twigs in their nest. The
other pair were also there today at lunchtime roosting in the same place,
while another bird in breeding plumage perched high above them in the same
tree. All up 5 birds.
4 Australian Shelducks were still present as well as a Baillon's Crake and
a Great Egret (also perched on the spoonbill island).
Cheers
