Hi all,
Here is the necessary (it seems) third bird to complete the trifecta of interesting birds in the GBS site over the past 7 days. This time I observed a Princes Parrot (evidently an escapee) this afternoon flying around and then settling with a pair of A King-Parrots. It was normally coloured, with calls also fitting the descriptions.
Pretty good views were obtained in the area just over the backyard, before the bird flew off with the A King-Parrots.

This may well have been the same bird that I observed flying west over Narrabundah Hill (near Cooleman Ridge) on Friday night (I did not determine the bird past a long-tailed parrot).

Cheers,
Tobias
