I must have missed you and the drongo by about 5 minutes, Paul! I started from
the Kingston end at about 5.45pm, went through to Kellys and back by about 7pm,
but no sign of the drongo. Two Royal Spoonbills roosting in the willows
opposite Tadorna Hide and another two in the small willow opposite Cygnus. The
other most notable observation was some young White-winged Trillers feeding on
insects in flowering eucalypts - 2, possibly 3 birds involved - they had me
puzzled for a minute or two, but I had just concluded that they must be young
Trillers when they were joined by an adult male and adult female. They made no
sound during the 5 minutes I spent watching them.

Regards
Frank Antram
