Hi Harvey,
This is a quick (& desperate) email with
regards to the proposal to dam our Williams River at Tillegra. Under Hunter
Water's project planning requirements (it hasn't yet been approved by the state
government) of course they have to refer to the federal EPBC legislation - the
document is out for public comment and anyone interested in this has 2 weeks to
comment. This

interested.
A few weeks ago on an orchid checking expedition up in
Pilcher's Gorge we were swooped then entertained by a pair of Peregrine Falcons
- defending their territory I suppose. They were noisily and persistently
harassing what they thought was a bird in a grass tree on the escarpment edge.
Fantastic to see.
Anyway got to go more calls/emails to make.
