In response to Beth Mantle's report on a larger egg in the willie wagtails's nest. Morcombe's Field Guide, (p380) says that the pallid cuckoo parasitises the nests of willie wagtails. It is to be hoped that other COGites are in that area in the next few days and are able to keep an eye on that nest.
