Dear All I am overwhelmed by your kind responses!!!. A miracle has happened - my camera was received at Canon on Thursday morning last - (I had written an email to them on Ted's Camera store recommendation - pretty much what I wrote to this site ) - Mark Rossi from Canon camera service fixed the camera the same day - the shutter was replaced - and he sent it overnight air express back to Canberra. I collected my 'baby' back on Friday! I cannot believe the excellent service! (Neither could Ted's camera store quite frankly). Be prepared for a rather large bird list when i come back. Best regards Chris Hastir |
