October Wednesday walk

Next Wdnesday being the tird Wednesday in the month is the day for the October Wednesday walk.  It will be to Cuumbeun Nature Reserve and some surrounding private propeerty, by kind permission of the owner.  I suggest people coming from town carpool at Spotlight, gathering at 9:15.  I suggest coming along Canberra Avenue, rather than past the airport as the road are making that effectively gridlocked during peak hour. 

I will meet you at the start of the walk at 9:30. Directions are as follows.  Head out of Queanbeyan on the Kings Highway towards Bungendore.  At the top of the hill (about 4k from Spotlight) turn right into Captains Flat Road.  After approximately 2km turn right into Wanna Wanna Road.  After a bit over 1 km this turns to dirt, but keep going past Bernallah Rd (on the left) to a driveway on the right marked #352 (not surprisingly this is 3.5km from the start of Wanna Wanna).  I will be there in a prominently positioned blue Forester AR 76 HE.  If all goes pear shaped try my mobile 0435 012 840 but coverage is sporadic in this area.
