Acting on previous enthusisatic reports, I dropped in there this arvo
(north end of Dawes St, Kingston) and was suitably impressed. From under
the first footbridge (from Dawes St) a B-b Rail fluttered up onto the
sloping garden across the little wetland and pottered around the garden.
Lots of Reed Warblers and a Water Rat were other highlights.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
cheers
IF
En route, an excellent sighting of a Harvey P, commendably oblivious to
the traffic as he watched corellas on the nature strip of Bowen Drive.
