At Giralang ponds Sunday am....

Aust reed warbler, fairy wrens, red browed finch, grey fantail, yellow rumped thornbill including youngsters being fed.  Whether there were 2 families or all 3 babies were from the same nest, I don't know. Delightful to watch, especially the two huddled together. Couldn't quite catch the actual feeding with the camera... they were too quick!!  Also usual water birds... pacific black ducks, wood ducks, swan (one still on nest) hardheads, dusky moorhens, cootes, swamp hens, pied cormorant. Lovely morning.
