Between about 11am and 12noon this morning the following more interesting sightings were made by myself:

Kellys:
Several Fairy martins hawking in front of Bittern and Ardea hideas;
4 Black-winged Stilts opposite Cygnus hide;
5 (at least) Sharptailed sandpipers probing around in the tussocky grass at the S end of the Swamp;
1 Little Grassbird heard amongst the cacophony of Reed-warblersin front of the lookout.

Sewage Ponds:
2 Pink-eared Duck on Pond 4 (the first I have seen on the ponds for some weeks);
Many shovellers and hardhead especially on Ponds 4 and 6;
Again several fairy martins hawking on Pond 1;
3 Whiskered tens hawking over Pond 1.
Generally, the numbers of waterbirds seemed to be somewhat higher than they have been in recent weeks.
