Hi!
I  spotted a Square-Tailed Kite this avro which is roughly the same time that one arrived last year at Ulladulla. It's remarkably tame, or confident what ever as is sailed app 3mts over my head a few times. It landed quite clumsily on a bush some distance away and disappeared inside, appearing a couple of mins later, whether it caught anything and ate it I don't know. I was told that one had been spotted down near Moruya a couple of weeks ago. Last year
I saw what I thought would have to be 2 separate birds according to the distance and the time frame of where and when I seen them,so hopefully this could be a regular thing and maybe breeding is on the agenda.
Cheers
Bob Rusk
Ps   In the bird world it would seem that all roads lead to Ulladulla
Pss   You can't blame them really
