Some COG chatterers may be interested in this long running series: 'I and the Bird'. People from around the world (but mainly from the land of George W and ) take it in turn to post an issue on some aspects of birding on their blog. The quality and interest is variable but some issues are very good. The latest issue (No. 83) can be found at http://reflections.wrenaissance.info/2008/09/i-and-bird-83-joy-of-birds.html .

Incidentally Duncan Fraser informs members of the Birding-Aus chatline when each issue comes out. If Canberra chatliners are interested I can pass this information on.

Also Duncan notes that 'Edition 83 of I and the Bird is now on line, with lots of interesting stuff, especially Charlie Moores' entry. I found the site slow to load, just stick with it.'
