We dropped into Jindalee State Forest (north of Cootamundra) for about an hour this afternoon.  The ironbark was in flower and it was alive with birds.  Noisy Friarbirds dominated the flowering trees but numerous other species were also visiting.  The highlights of the area were a White-browed Babbler, a pair of Peaceful Doves and Brown-headed Honeyeaters.
