A few months back I reported seeing Brown Treecreepers in some treed country with lots of fallen timber near Foxlow Bridge.  Subsequently Julienne Kamprad advised that she had seen Hooded Robins in the area.  I revisited the area  today and while I couldn't provoke any Treecreepers into revealing themselves I did see a female hooded robin, a couple (at least) of Flame Robins and 3 Diamond Firetails.

In case anyone else wants to check the area out I have attached an annotated Google Earth image of the simplest approach.  Its about 30km from the start of Captais Flat Road to the turn off to Hoskintown.   Alternatively go through Hoskintown heading for Rossi but turn right towards Captains Flat at the t-intersection (its longer, but probably more birds, especially in the hawthormn bushes just out of Hoskintown)
